EuroBiotix announces expansion of Board of Directors
EuroBiotix today announced an expansion of its Board of Directors, adding three members who bring a wealth of scientific, medical and executive leadership to the company. We are delighted that Mr Gavin Clark, Dr James Clark, and Professor Sir Lewis Ritchie have been appointed as Non-Executive Directors. The Board looks forward to benefiting from their wide ranging and extensive experience.
Working in the biomedical field for over 30 years Gavin Clark brings his experience in biotechnology start-ups to our team, and will be vital in achieving strategic commercialisation goals.
With a background in general practice and an exceptional list of achievements in public health and primary care, Professor Sir Lewis Ritchie has up until recently served as the Director of Public Health for NHS Grampian, and is now part of the team in addition to his duties as the James Mackenzie Professor of General Practice with the University of Aberdeen.
Coming to the board with a BSc in Microbiology and a biochemistry PhD from University of Glasgow, Dr James Clark has extensive experience in managing clinical laboratories, been part of numerous diagnostic product developments related to oncology and biomolecule detection. He was formerly CTO of Enterome, a Paris-based biotechnology company with advanced technology and products in the emerging field of disease management of the human gut microbiome.
